“Alright, Plan B.” She said.
“So soon?” I asked.
“Yes, but only if you’re up for it.”
“Alright, let’s hear it first then I’ll decide.”
“If you want all the guys to envy you, especially Lautner, you’d have to kiss Miley-“
“What? Hell no, Demi, I don’t like where this is going.”
“Alright, fine, don’t kiss her, but know that no matter how many dates you go with Miley, it won’t change anything because Taylor sees no action so for him it’s not that challenging yet.”
“Are you even sure about this?”
“I’m 100% sure, besides, it’s not just Lautner, Selena too. She’ll realize how much it hurts when she sees you with someone else.”
“What if she doesn’t?”
“She will. Just trust me, okay?”
“How about Miley, she has a boyfriend, remember?”
“You don’t have trust in me, do you?”
“I do trust you, Dem. But Miley has a boyfriend.”
“Are you kidding me, Kissing you is Miley’s guilty pleasure, another reason why it’s Miley.”
“What?” I asked confused.
“Well, Taylor likes a lot of girls, but I chose Miley specifically because I know she’d agree, cause she has a crush on you.”
“Demi!”
She smiled.
“Sorry, besides, I knew you wouldn’t want to go on a fake date with, Jessica Peterson, remember last time?”
“I guess so.” I said. “Alright, how does this thing happens?”
“You mean kissing thing?” she teased.
“Yeah, yeah.”
“Well, first, you gotta remember, Miley is good at kissing, she’s not 9 you know.” She teased again.
I blushed.
The thing about 9-year-olds is that they do what they want on impulse and well, my impulse at the age of 9 led me into having my first kiss - which is with Selena. We don’t really talk about it because - well, we were 9 - and because she felt awkward, she always considered Taylor Lautner as her first kiss - and that sucks - but I secretly considered her as mine, and whenever anyone asks I just say, I haven’t had a first kiss.
“Can you just tell me what will happen?”
“Alright, we’ll make it look like you were surprised and that you liked it, before first period I’ll be talking to Selena then you’ll see us, you’ll call us and we’d turn to look at you then Miley will start walking towards you and then she’ll kiss you.”
“That looks like you got it from a sappy chick flick.”
“It’s the best I got so deal with it.” She said standing up. “See you tomorrow.”
