Be Stupid For Me - Chapter 6

And since I’ve been gone for waayy tooo loonng, Here’s another chapter for all of you! :))

“But seriously, why is he eyeing me like that?” I asked lying in my bed.
“He’s jealous.” Demi replied.
Demi begged me to call her as soon as the date was over and as promised, I did and when I got home, she was in my room, playing my guitar. Like she was more exited for the story that I was.
“He’s jealous? Of who? Me? Why? Does he like me? Is he gay or something?”
She laughed.
“Are boys really that clueless?” She asked teasingly.
“Hey, what’s that supposed to mean?”
She laughed again.
“What I meant was he’s jealous of you!”
“Why?”
“Because, Miley’s our bait. I’ve seen him checking her out a couple times and it finally made sense, he likes her too much but he wants Selena around. Now that Miley’s pretending to date you, he’ll think she’s taken and that’s why he’ll make a move?”
“Isn’t he supposed to give up when a girl’s already with somebody?”
“That’s what most guys are supposed to do. But he likes challenges, that’s why he dated Selena.”
“What do you mean, that’s why he dated Selena?”
“There’s a 5% part of him that genuinely likes her, a pathetic feeling he has and he don’t want to show it unless she becomes unavailable and the guy looks like a challenge, then he’ll want her more and then when he finally gets her his like for her will decrease to about 3% and then he’ll find a new target. Remember who Selena’s dating before him? David, remember him?” 
“Oh yeah. Wow, Demi, that was good.”
“I know.” She smiled. “But the story’s not twisted yet.”
“What do you mean?”
“Selena’s crazy for you but she doesn’t want to think so because you’re the best friend. She loves you but you’re more important to lose so she can’t take chances.” 
“So, Selena likes me? So I could just ask her out then?”
“You’re not getting it. She doesn’t like to think of you as that so she won’t say yes if you just ask her, you’re gonna have to open her eyes.”
“Wow. Things just get complicated by the minute.” 

Be Stupid For Me - Chapter 5

FINALLY!
I’m finally not busy today so I got to write a chapter! Hope you guys like it! :))

Selena avoided me the whole day. I did not have a clue as to why, though. And Demi kept bugging me about going on a pretend date with Miley Cyrus so I agreed. She asked Miley too and she was in and said that it was about time I started making a move. What move? I really don’t know anything about girls. Why do I even hang out with one? Demi knew Selena’s day to day plans, She is her bestest girlfriend after all, and on today’s schedule was a date with her dumbass boyfriend. And according to Demi, they’ll be going on some fast food restaurant so we’ll be going there too. And act lovey-dovey.

7:30 Demi stopped by my house to make sure I looked hot. If you’re wondering how I looked, check down for the picture Demi took.

She says it’s for the future scrapbook Selena and I will make. In all honesty, I think the one I’ll be making that with with is Miley, since in my position, She’s most likely the only one I’ll get to date. Even if it’s pretend.

“Hiya!” Miley greeted.
“Hey Miles, I’m sorry Demi dragged you into this charade, -“
“Don’t worry, I’d like to help - if that’s what I’m doing- So you and Selena could finally together!”
I laughed.
“I’m not even sure I could do it, you know, tell her.” I said opening the door for her inside the restaurant.
“There will be a moment that the both of you will say what you really desire, you just gotta pressure each other.”
“If she doesn’t like me and -“
“She likes you.” She said.
“How do you know?”
“Well, Judging from how she’s looking at us, with that angry eyes, it seems she’s jealous.”
“How can she be jealous. She’s dating the quarterback. The whole student body’s desire.” I said “Me, I’m not even a geek, or a nerd, I’m plain invisible.”
“Not to her, you ain’t.”
I looked at Selena’s table. She did have angry eyes. but not just her. Taylor Lautner was taunting me with his fiery eyes.

I really hate disappointing you guys but I’m very busy these days, school is taking up all my time and I can’t focus on writing but I’ll try right now.

Be Stupid For Me - Chapter 4

Everyone wonders how long I could take it. how long I could stand seeing her being lied to, how long I could take seeing her in another man’s arms. How long? I don’t know either. All I know is that I want to be there for her every time her man isn’t and I want to be there every time she cries. I don’t know how long but I just want to be there. With her. Even if she will always be someone else’s.

I entered the cafeteria with the same emotionless look on my face. I saw Demi and went to where she was, she knew how I felt for Selena and she knew how to give great advises. 
“Oh, don’t tell me something happened again.” She said
I shook my head.
“Do you really have to be in love with her? can’t it be anyone else?” 
I shook my head again.
She sighed.
“Then will you let me help you win her?”
I was about to answer ‘maybe’ when Selena came.
“Help him win who?”
“I-UH-She-” I stuttered “She meant- um - help me with this amazing car and -“
“I don’t believe you, it’s a girl isn’t it?”
“What? Uh-“
“Yes!” Demi said “She likes Miley and you know that girl loves to play hard to get!” She said.
I glared at Demi.
“Really? Good for you!” Selena said slapping my back. “Oh, wait, I gotta do something!”
She said and hurried out.
“Why did you say that?” I asked
“You were going to say maybe.” She said. ”Just go with it. I’ll talk to Miley and she’ll pretend, trust me.”
“Miley has a boyfriend, the college dude she loves to brag about. everybody knows about that.” 
“Just trust me.” Demi insisted. 
“Whatever you say.” 

Be Stupid For Me - Chapter 3

Later that day, I wanted to cancel on her, just for fun, to see how much drama she’ll cause, she’s like that you know, dramatic. it came from the genes, I guess, his dad is this huge actor that everybody loves but nobody knows she’s his daughter, but if you were close to her, you’d see the resemblance. Mr. Gomez, was over dramatic, funny, a great dad but overly dramatic, just like her.
I wanted to cancel but I didn’t. not because I didn’t want drama but because she’s important to me. Like all best friends, I too have fallen in love with mine and so I pledged to take care of her, no matter what it takes, though there are some limits-like her love life, that’s something I 100% can’t meddle in to because she’s hardheaded but most of all because it’s out of my boundary, I’d be crossing the line if I cared about that, even if his boyfriend is a cheating asshole because it’s his word against mine and when it comes to him, she’ll always believe anything he says -even lies - it doesn’t even matter if I have a long history with her. I tried to tell her but it just turned into a huge fight so I took back what I said and just let her be stupid.

When I got to the movie house, where we agreed to meet, she wasn’t there.
Selena was always late so it’s normal, but after some time…
8 pm
9 pm
Closing Time. She never came. When I got home I received a text from her saying “Hey Nick! I know it’s late now but I’m sorry I didn’t come, Taylor came earlier and took back what he said so we went on our anniversary date.”
It was painful for me but who was I to be jealous? I wasn’t the boyfriend, she wasn’t supposed to be with me on her anniversary date. 
In all honesty, that’s why it sucks, I’m not hers and she’s not mine. she belongs to someone else, she’s only mine in my dreams, she’s only mine with my eyes closed, if I look on the bright side, I blink my eyes a hundred times a day, she’s still mine every second. only seconds. so much, I wish she could be mine with my eyes open because it opens every time I close and I come back to reality after every blink and again it becomes clear that she’s stupidly in love with him. not me.

I’m really, really sorry! :( I’m just really busy with school, I only have 2 hours break and I use that for resting and using the computer, I’m free on Saturdays and Sundays but since school just recently started here, It’s still busy, I promise I’ll try to write something tomorrow, since we have a half day every friday. :))

I really am sorry for not being able to write, I just can’t write a chapter in an hour. :)
Hope you won’t lose patience though. :)

Be Stupid For Me - Chapter 2

When lunch came, everybody looked so happy the day could’ve been mistaken for Christmas. Except of course for Selena. She’s mad at me because I told her the truth. the truth she can’t take.
She played with her lunch as I stared at her annoyed. I knew she wasn’t going to eat again, she’s going to starve herself until her boyfriend comes to her and take back what he said earlier, of course that won’t happen and she knew exactly that. I took her fork and shove her food in her mouth. She was going to protest but her mouth was already full.
“Why do you always have to be dramatic?” I told her as she chewed. “It’s just one date.”
She swallowed her food and replied “Our Anniversary date!”
I shove another of her food in her mouth.
“Tell you what, why don’t we just go do something you girls do whenever you feel depressed.”
“Wow. Thanks.” She said sarcastically with food still on her mouth.
“You see. you gotta be thankful someone can still stand you when you’re disgusting.” I told her while I closed her mouth.
She glared.
After she finished swallowing her food I shove another piece of food on her mouth.
“You know, I still don’t get how a person like you could be so stupid.” I said trying to annoy her.
She playfully slapped me in the face.
“So, do you want to do something on your anniversary day or not?”
She nodded
“What do you want to do, then?” I asked
She swallowed.
“I don’t want to plan it, you might cancel on me too.”
I shoved another piece of food in her mouth.
“I’m the one who asked you, why would I cancel on you. you idiot?”
Joe came along with Demi.
I wiped Selena’s mouth which had food scattered all over it.
“Oh, look at you guys, so cute.” 
“How is this cute, It’s like I’m feeding a 9 year old.”
Selena swallowed
“How can it be cute when it feels like I’m being fed by my mom?”
I smiled at her sarcastically.
“How can you two even be best friends?”
“Long story.” Selena and I said at the same time.
It wasn’t a long story at all, Our friendship worked best like this, I got her back and she got mine. I tell her when she’s irrational and idiotic and she’d tell me when I’m  annoying and disgusting with my playboy image. We just hate talking about it because people would say, “oh, you are perfect for each other.” Because we’re perfectly fine with what we are now, we’re best friends and nothing can take that away from us, just because somebody says we’re meant to be doesn’t mean we have to think so too.
